Partners in developing self-sustaining children’s heart centers
We are incredibly grateful to our funding partners for their multi-year investment in our work. Their annual support of our staff and volunteers to make progress on Heart to Heart’s mission each and every year directly translates to the creation of new self-sustaining cardiac programs – giving thousands of children access to life-saving surgery. Our long-term funders include:
For nearly a decade, the Edwards Lifesciences Foundation has awarded considerable funding to Heart to Heart annually so we can provide advanced education and training to medical professionals throughout Russia – and now Peru. Their generous financial support enables us to provide comprehensive cardiac education and training, including the introduction of the cutting-edge technology.
The Alcoa Foundation has been funding our work to develop access to open heart surgery for children in the Volga Federal District (pop. 30m) and the Southern Federal District (pop. 14m) of Russia since 2007.
The Medtronic Foundation generously supported Heart to Heart’s work for more than a decade, helping us launch an initiative to strategically develop nationwide access to life-saving heart care for all children throughout the Russian Federation.
The World of Children Award honored Heart to Heart’s Founder & Medical Director for “innovating life-changing nonprofit initiatives benefitting the world’s most vulnerable children.” The award came with a $75,000 grant, which funds our Nilas Young World of Children Traveling Fellowship.
The St. Jude Medical Foundation began funding us annually in 2011. We are thrilled to have their annual support to continue developing our network of advanced children’s heart centers which provide life-saving surgical procedures to thousands of children.
